Payment and Ordering

1.1 Information Accuracy

  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including full name, shipping and billing addresses, telephone number, and a valid email address. Duirmoon Studio is not responsible for mis-delivery or delays resulting from incorrect information submitted by the customer.

1.2 Payment Methods

  • Payment must be made in full at the time the order is placed. We accept all major credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Payments are securely processed through our integrated payment processors (Stripe).

1.3 Sales Tax & International Duties

  • Canada: Applicable sales tax will be added to all orders within Canada based on your specific province.

  • USA & International: Orders shipped outside of Canada are not charged sales tax at checkout. However, you are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes applied by your country’s customs office. These fees must be paid by the customer to receive the order.

1.4 Order Changes

  • Once an order has been shipped, changes cannot be made. If your order has not yet shipped, we can update the delivery address. To request an address change, please contact Donovan immediately at duirmoon@gmail.com

1.5 Natural Variations & Color Accuracy

  • You acknowledge that the colors seen on your digital screen may vary slightly from the physical piece. Furthermore, as we work with natural wood species (such as Walnut, Maple, and Cherry), variations in grain pattern, wood tone, and natural "character" marks are inherent to the medium. Duirmoon Studio does not guarantee an exact match to online images, though every effort is made to represent the artwork accurately.

1.6 Commissioned Artwork

  • All custom and commissioned wood intarsia projects require at least 33% (1/3) non-refundable downpayment before work begins. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the final product is prepared for shipment.

1.7 Privacy & Personal Data

  • Your privacy is paramount. Information submitted for orders will only be used for fulfillment, delivery, and direct communication regarding your purchase. Duirmoon Studio will never share or sell your personal data to third parties.

1.8 Custom Work & Content Policy

A. Artistic Scope & Right of Refusal Duirmoon Studio reserves the right to refuse any commission request that does not align with our artistic focus or brand values. Our work is centered on the celebration of nature, wildlife, and heritage.

B. Prohibited Content (Political & Social Agenda) To maintain the focus of the studio on nature and art, we do not accept commissions that include:

  • Political or Social Agenda Messaging: We decline all requests for imagery, slogans, or symbols associated with specific political parties, candidates, or organized social movements/agendas.

  • Inflammatory Content: We will not produce work that features hate speech, promotes discrimination, or depicts themes of violence.

  • Explicit Content: We do not accept requests for adult-oriented or explicit imagery.
