Nature’s Embrace
There is a quiet magic in the forest—a fleeting moment where the woods seem to pause and hold its breath. Nature’s Embrace was created to capture that precise moment in time. A point in time where the peace of the forest lies undisturbed
Nature’s Embrace is the most detailed artwork I have yet crafted in the Duirmoon workshop, and is the result of countless hours of planning, designing and crafting spread over the span of half a year.
This piece represents over 180 hours of intentional work in the workshop. It is crafted without the use of paints, stains or dyes with every color and grain variation you see coming directly from the natural beauty of the natural wood.
442 Hand-Shaped Pieces: Each contour of the fox to the organic, swirling lines in the trees were cut, shaped and sanded by hand without the use of CNC or Laser
19 Wood Species: 19 different species of wood were used within this artwork. Each one being intentionally selected for its nature colour and grain orientation to best represent the organic structure from within nature
Featured Woods: Wenge, Honduras Mahogany, Santos Mahogany, Osage Orange, Katalox, Sipo, Maple, Cherry, Chechen, Jatoba, Medieval Walnut, Khaya Mahogany, Sapele, Anigre, Black Walnut, Ambrosia Maple, Curupay Negra, Ulmo, Panga Panga
Nature’s Embrace isn't just a depiction of wildlife, but rather it’s a tribute to the peaceful harmony found in nature.
